My name is Steve Pederson, dba Major 7 Productions. I currently reside and work in Chicago, IL. I have been a freelance web designer since the year 2000. Although my formal training is in the performing arts, I have learned the art of web design from some of the best and notable teachers such as Jakob Nielsen, David Powers and others.
I have also gained a great deal of experience and insight over the years in the studio engineering field as I have observed, learned from and imitated some of the best cats out there.
People choose me to service their multimedia needs because they know that I am honest, dependable, helpful, creative and they trust that I will do an excellent job. For more exciting information about me, please visit www.stevepederson.com
In addition to the services I provide, I have a network of associates, such as writers, artists, graphic designers, programmers, directors, musicians, audio engineers, camera operators, and on and on. This is a network of professionals that are experts in their fields who can be brought together to complete great multimedia projects. By setting high standards I am able to hire the best talent for whatever task arises.
I am proud to be a supporter of HOPE Worldwide, which is a great benevolent organization that helps to bring relief to people all over the world. HOPE stands for Helping Other People Everywhere. To find out more about the things they do and have done, or to become a supporter yourself, please visit their web site.
EBEPI, or the Every Browser Every Platform Initiative, is a little thing I started after getting annoyed with the fact that there are several web sites that I cannot visit unless I have a particular type of web browser on a particular type of computer. It is my hope to help other web site designers consider everybody's needs when designing a web site.
It is also a mark of my committment to my clients that every web site I design will work in every browser and on every platform.
